The best things to do in the Cotswolds
Among the famous green rolling hills and picturesque villages of the Cotswolds, there are so many different things for visitors to see and do. If you’re interested in history we’ve got churches, castles, country houses, museums and galleries, as well as a heritage steam railway.
Outdoor lovers have miles of walks through the Cotswolds’ unspoilt countryside, from short strolls to the full 102-mile-long Cotswold Way long-distance walking route from Chipping Camden to Bath. Then there’s scenic viewpoints, flower fields, ornate gardens and farm parks for the kids.
The Cotswolds has a fantastic selection of places to eat and drink – from quaint country pubs to Michelin-starred restaurants – as well as boutique antique and independent shops. Or if you fancy something a bit more unusual, we’ve got weird and wonderful festivals and a few ghosts too!
